My family
Got hold of them, everyone was ok but then they live on top of a mountain so no flooding for them, only power outages and downed trees.
We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

my son and his bunch live somewhere near Raleigh i think. they have not responded to calls or texts yet. hope it is just cell and phone lines out.

Finally
My son and crew finally made contact Tuesday (8th) night. Their cell phones are almost useless getting service and their power comes and goes, mostly gone. It appears they avoided the worst of it. Depending which way Milton tracs, they may be headed for Tennessee. Seems they are used to running away from weather.
I have a niece and her family
who live in Asheville. They're sheltering with her husband's family nearby.
