Nice list, but...

Nice list, but... It'd be nicer if the names linked to the authors & stories. :-) (Lazy, I am.)

I've only read a small number of those stories - so far, though I do recognize most of the authors...

Think about it

The list is supposed to encourage thoughts of buying the book, not looking the stories up here on BC for free. :)

Erin

So, I'm...

So I'm greedy - and was looking for something to read - now. LOL

Promoting Volume One

Is there any way we could get this puppy written up in the Sunday Times book review supplement?
Or more realistically, the Advocate or somebody? I'd put in toward buying a copy to send them.

Happy that my little screed got selected, humbled that I'm in there with so many awesome authors...
~~hugs, Veronica

Great Idea!

I assume you're volunteering to do this? :)

Clearly I was far from the only one to vote for Ronnie on the Cross.Your little screed got selected, by me at least, because the whole story was not just well-written but spoke directly to the core of our needs and concerns. That was the pattern that Erin and others wanted for the book: quality writing that expressed what our life is about.
Thank you.

Hard To Argue With The Picks

One query. What is the significance of the black dots against some stories and not against others?

Joanne

Since the header for that

Since the header for that column is "Perm", I assume it's those stories whose authors have signed the permission for their use.

One Story Missing

You Meant it for Evil should be added, now that the series is finished

It's too big I suppose

It is of course a great story ... even if she had to settle for a man in the end ;) Yes I joke!

Kim

It's good, yes, but what about length...

...isn't it quite lengthy for the requirements put on this? I thought this was more supposed to be many short stories (so that we can fit in some variation into it) rather than few long serials.

Has any contact with the

Has any contact with the authors that haven't visited the salon to get their "Perm" yet been made?

I gave permission ...

... for The Walking Wounded and several other stories, if needed. *grins* It's just that no one has updated the list since I did so. Anyone else? *smile*
