Late Night, Gloria’s Workstation:
Aisha was trying to stay awake as she watched Gloria go through each line of code. She was amazed at how fast Gloria could go through the coding. She managed to spot the different styles from the people who wrote the codes.

She watches as Gloria starts the game and try several things. She notices Gloria runs into the same problem she did.

“See what I mean? You can’t get to the section that you need to.” It has frustrated Aisha to no end and she hated that.

“Actually, yes. I do see what you are talking about and I think I know what you and I are doing wrong.” Gloria had figured out the pattern.

“Oh? What are we doing wrong?” Aisha covers up a yawn.

She glances at her cellphone and notices it was four in the morning. She couldn’t believe they have been at the code as long as they have.
She covers up another yawn.

“You have to do the entrance in a certain pattern and enter a code.” Gloria had finally found the section that you had to enter a code.

“So, how do you get the code?” Aisha hadn’t spotted that.

“You get the code from a game code dongle.” Gloria had a few around she could use.

“How about if you don’t have one?” Aisha covers up another yawn.

“I just happened to have a special program I wrote a long time ago that will work for us.” Gloria had written the program to break into an arms supplier computer. He thought he could be smart and make all his clients use one.

She brings her old program up and makes some adjustments to it, to match the code in the game. She double checks everything, before activating it.

“Here’s goes nothing.” Gloria follows the process that she discovered.

Aisha watches as Gloria follows the process. She noticed that there were two paths they could take. Gloria takes one path and notices it was where a seller could post what they were selling.

“I’ll be damn. It’s a black market sales contact.” Aisha had stood up to look at the form and information you enter to sell whatever you had.

“Let’s look at the other path.” Gloria backs out of that one and goes to the other path and enters.

A list of available services and items for sale. The list had everything you could want. You could buy the services and commodities of anything.

“I can’t believe Jester is part of this.” Aisha knew Jester was crazy, but she never thought he would be part of something like this.

Gloria launches a snooper program into the system to locate the last IP addresses of the last users. She also downloads a listing of everything they were finding and who was offering the product.

“Should we shut this down?” Aisha looks at Gloria for an answer.

“No, lets discreetly monitor it and see what else is going on.” Gloria manages to break into the code and adds one of her own.

She makes it part of the entrance program. No one will know its there or the fact it is recording everyone who enters. Once the programs are placed. Gloria logs out and leaves the gaming computer system.

“Now, we know why you kept getting kicked around, Aisha.” Gloria looks over towards Aisha.

She notices that Aisha was looking extremely tired. She glances at the clock and it was almost five in the morning.

“Come on, let's get you to bed.” Gloria locks her station and escorts Aisha to her room.

Aisha follows Gloria to a different floor they were on. She was impressed by how the place was set up.

“Do you guys normally stay up this late hacking people?” Aisha was curious.

“I wouldn’t say we hack people. I would phrase it as defending the innocent from crooks who know how to use computers and from
themselves. As for staying up late, yes. We tend to keep unusual hours here at the castle. That’s why we have our apartments here” A smile appears on Gloria’s face.

“Makes sense. It cuts down on travel time and you can continue to work on whatever you were working on, later.” Aisha covers up another yawn.

“Exactly.” Gloria stops in front of a wooden door.

She opens the door with a key card and walks in first. Aisha follows behind Gloria.

“Hope you like it.” Gloria steps aside to let Aisha look the room over.

She loved the huge bed in the middle of the room. She saw that her things were already in the room and set up for her.

“Wow! Your staff around here is good.” Aisha couldn't believe it.

“They are and they are very trustworthy as well.” Gloria and the rest of the higher-ups do a deep background check on everyone they hire.
Sometimes they use clients like K&P and others to check out their employees as well.

Aisha turns around to face Gloria “what do we do tomorrow or later?”

“Go ahead and get some sleep and we’ll talk about it when you wake-up.” Gloria turns around and walks out of the room.

Aisha watches Gloria leave. Afterward, she changes out of the clothes she has on.
