OH GOD WHY

NO NO NO NOT THEM!!! OH God why! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!? Sarah oh God what have you done? What are you doing? What happened to Amber? Oh no!!!?

Ryker you torture me so xD

Oh well, guess this means I'll have to read the next book too, GOSH DARN IT X.X

I know who I am, I am me, and I like me ^^
Transgender, Gamer, Little, Princess, Therian and proud :D

Haha! Exactly as I planned. Now you have to read the next one!

Hehe, the last chapter was the real, happy ending for Amber. This little epilogue was like my little tease for the next book. Like those little bits at the end of the Marvel movie credits. ;)

Thanks for following along and sticking with it. I'm looking forward to your comments in my future works.

Ken.

OK so...

My questions is who was miss Keating? Or will that be revealed in the next book?

Sarah Keating

Since Sarah was the only Keating mentioned in the book, I was strongly implying that it was her. I suppose it's no big spoiler to tell that, yes, it is in fact her. Her motives, however, you will have to wait until the next book to find out. ;)

I knew it was Sarah, and I

I knew it was Sarah, and I figure Danna was the daughter, but that extra bit does help with that. The only thing is, and hopefully it will be explained in the next part is, was the daughter born and Amber was told that she died and is Amber still alive and the daughter told she died. I do not trust these two and now it seems that Sarah is the one in charge as it sounds like Mr. Calvin is submissive to her. Can't wait to read the next part to see how this all develops.

You got it.

Your assessment of what Danna and Amber were told of each other seems right. The only thing that's certain: don't trust anything Sarah or Don say much at this point. ;) But both their motives will be explored in a spin-off I am planning.

And I'm still debating whether to keep the extra bit in Chapter 69. I liked the scene I wrote for it, but I'm worried it might make the end a bit less of a surprise. But when I left it out, it confused some of my other readers a bit too much.

Thanks for following along and for your review!

No problem Ken, that last bit

No problem Ken, that last bit of insight came to me as I was writing it. I could not believe Amber was dead, and who was telling her story, so the last idea made sense to me. As an aside I am glad that Taylor turned herself around and hope it stays, but I think with Courteney around she should be fine. As for keeping that little bit, I would leave it there if you are happy with it, I think a little hint to the end will be all right, it helps readers understand that Danna is the daughter, I just happened to get the hint in the last chapter then jumped back to read the new section.

No worries.

Amber is alive and well, though I can't speak for her freedom. Courtney may have her a bit tied up at the moment. ;)

I think I'll leave the new scene in, since I like it. It serves more than to just remind us of the lost baby, too. And I still have the Sarah/Don twist as the big surprise at the end.

Thanks for the insightful comments. They helped me decide what to do.

So the implication is that Amber got the Harvard job and wealth

* * * * MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD * * *

... from Sarah to get her out of town so she would not realize a certain person was NOT dead.

At best it was because Sarah felt guilty.

BITCH either way.

How or what could justify this?

Was she corrupted by a greed archeron? Why does she seem to have power over Mr. Calvin now?

I almost wonder if the accident that killed Mrs Calvin and altered Taylor was a set-up by Sarah?

Poor child. Will she be rescued? Meet her mom? Her real one that is.

And what of Taylor?

Will she help or is she at risk too? And what of her mom, now in the archeron *plane*? Will/can she help?

Will Mr Calvin ever redeem himself or are he and Sarah lost causes?

Taylor offered to make Amber like her, an archeron or human archeron hybrid.

What will Amber do once she learns of this cruel deception? She warned Mr Taylor not to mess with her or her friends ever again. This is *messing* on a massive scale IMHO.

BTW with the child *dead* why NOT change Amber back long ago? Would have been an easy way to get him far away. Or too many questions to answer and their dirty game might be exposed?

Nasty cliff hanger/tease.

Well done!

More to come!

Hi John!

Amber getting out of the house was not planned by anyone except Courtney. It was a wrench in Calvin's plans, but Amber suspects Sarah may have gotten her the job so that Amber would have the resources to help them track down Taylor. That may also be the reason they never changed her back. They wanted to keep her close and use her for her seeker powers. I'm gonna leave that one a little vague for now.

Sarah's and Don's motivations will be more deeply explored in a spin-off I am planning, so you'll have to wait until then. Taylor will be in it too, but it's not likely we'll see her mom much again. She passed from the world when her human form died.

Thanks for all the theories and ideas you posed. They gave me some good ideas for plot points. I look forward to your comments on my next stories.
