Christopher - An unexpected event
Some weeks later, Christopher was in the city again. It was Wednesday afternoon, and Christopher was wandering around. He had got some money for Christmas and of course, the money he had got for modelling. This afternoon he wanted to spend it. He looked in the shop windows of various shops and couldn't find anything he wanted to have. He reached the street where the "Girls World" store was located, and without thinking, he entered the street and went to the store. There he looked at the shop window. The outlay had changed since his last visit and was now showing some pretty spring dresses.

And on one side, there were several pictures of a young girl modelling some dresses of the winter collection. It took Christopher some moments to realise that that young girl was him. He couldn't believe it. Christopher was surprised to find out that someone had taken photos of him during the modelling. Below the picture was a text: "Miss Johnsson's niece Jennifer modelling some pieces of the winter collection. Many thanks to Miss Ragaz for providing those awesome photos." Christopher looked closer at the photos and still couldn't believe him. If he hadn't known better, there would have be now way for him to believe that this girl actually was a boy. He was sure that not even his mother would have recognized him.
Later, he wouldn't be able to tell why he entered the shop or think of any reason to do it. But he did it. As soon as he had entered the shop, Miss Johnsson came to great him: "Christopher, nice to see you. I didn't expect to see you in here again. Why have you come?"
Christopher stammered: "I don't know, I saw the photos of me in the shop windows and ..."
"If I'd have known how to contact you, I would have asked you, I hope you're not angry that I'm showing the photos in the shop window?"
"Err, of course not," replied Christopher and blushed.

In this moment the doorbell rang, and a customer entered.
Christopher and Miss Johnsson turned both to the door. "Good Evening Miss Ragaz, what can I do for you?"
Wait? Miss Ragaz, wasn't she the one who provided the photos?
"Ah, your niece Jennifer is here too. I didn't thank you for your modelling the last time. You did great work. You're a natural model, you know?"
Christopher blushed and managed to say: "Thank you Miss." "Will you model the spring collection for us too?"
To Christopher's relief, Miss Johnsson helped out: "Maybe - I haven't decided yet what I do for promoting the spring collection."
Christopher breathed a sigh of relief.
Miss Ragaz nodded: "I'd like if you model the spring collection for us, Jennifer."
Miss Ragaz turned to Miss Johnsson: "Have you the clothes ready I ordered?"
"Of course. Jennifer, will you help me to fetch them?"

Christopher nodded and followed Miss Johnsson to the back office. "I can't go back there Miss Johnsson! She will find out!" Christopher panicked.
"Don't be silly dear, she hasn't found out yet, and she won't find out. Your clothing is unisex, and she knows you as a Girl and hasn't any reason to think you're not one."
This made Christopher calm down a bit. But he still stayed very nervous.
Christopher helped Miss Johnsson to bring the prepared clothes to the cash point.

When they were done, Miss Ragaz said: "It doesn't look like you have much money for clothes, Jennifer, don't you?"
"Err, no Miss," replied Christopher, not knowing a better answer. The question made Christopher nervous.
"Why don't you pick up an outift for yourself, and I'll pay for it? Let that be my thanks for your modelling on Christmas Eve."
Christopher blushed: "That's not necessary, Miss Ragaz. Anyway, I don't have the right underwear here to try a dress on."

"Oh, that's no problem! What size do you have?"
When Christopher replied, she went to the underwear section and soon returned with a cute set of girl underwear. It was of silk in a nice pink colour and showing some flowers on it. "Why don't we look through the store together?" This made Christopher even more nervous. He hoped that all would be over soon.
They started to look through the clothes in the store. "What about this? " Miss Ragaz showed Christopher a cute blue mini skirt and a pink top with written on it: "cute girl". "You will look absolute great in it, and the boys will love it." Of course, this made Christopher blush. "Don't be so shy, you're cute, you know? Try it on." Christopher blushed again and went to the changing rooms.

There he stripped down and put on the girl underwear Miss Ragaz had given him. It was much softer than his own boy underwear. He liked the feeling of it in some way. He even managed to put on the padded bra without any help. He then put on the top, it was very tight and it snuggled very close to Christopher's body. There was no way to hide the breasts the padded bra gave him. No one would have believed, now, that Christopher was a boy; he was too obviously a girl.
He then put on the miniskirt and left the changing room. Outside Miss Johnsson waited for him with a pair of with socks and a pair of sandals. They were pink and had a 2 cm heel. He put them on and then went to Miss Ragaz to show her how it looked.

"You're very cute in this outfit dear! Just the right thing to date with a boy. Are you already dating boys?"
Christopher blushed, and for his relief, Miss Johnsson answered for him: "She is still a bit young for that, she just got 12 and isn't yet interested in boys."
Miss Ragaz nodded understanding: "I'm sure that will change soon."
To Miss Johnsson, she said: "Your niece is very pretty. I only would wish, my daughter would be like her and show more interest how she looks. She not even comes with me shopping for clothes. She's only interested in her horses and sports activities."
Miss Johnsson nodded and said: "That's a pity."

Then Miss Ragaz paid for Christopher's and her daughter's clothes and left, not without saying to Christopher: "Jennifer, I hope you'll model the spring collection for me and my friends."
Again, Christopher blushed and replied: "I'll think about it." He then thanked her for the clothes and was relieved when she left the store.
"I'm sorry Christopher," Miss Johnsson said, "I just couldn't think of any way to stop her without making her suspicious."
"It's alright Miss Johnsson," Christopher replied. "It wasn't that bad."
This made Miss Johnsson smile, and Christopher went to change back in to his boy clothes. He said goodbye to Miss Johnsson and went back shopping. After Christopher had left, Miss Johnsson, smiling, stored Christopher's girl clothes in her office.

Christopher had left the store, he soon forgot about the events in Miss Johnsson's store. But the next time when he was in the city his feet lead him to a particular street ...

Thanks for continuing the story and casually taking it along. Christopher is seeing Jennifer as something that just happens and does not see as Miss Johnson that Jennifer is. She keeps her clothing at the store.

Photographer not there just by chance. I wonder if others like a Mom are part of what is unfolding.

I like it!

A nice visit with Jennifer! I wonder about that spring collection! It's nice that's he not forced or blackmailed, but his own choice!
Hugs!

An unexpected gem

Meri.

This is a very lovely story. It's like a little
bedtime story for people who are - lucky! As do many
here, I love the nicer idea of helping others without
the thought of reward, and than having something nice
come your way just for spite! Just a lovely story, Meri.

As I've said before, a sweet little short story is
like a poem. It's a little something that you can
carry with you while you go about your day. Now,
People are starting to think I'm even more silly,
because I'm always smiling to myslef lately!

I hope we see a lot more of Jennifer. That's about the
only way your story could be any more..., Lovely!

Nicely done

An enjoyable piece, a few tense moments, a man beyond his years.

A grand view from your mind's eye.

An Unexpected Event

Hi

I'd missed your first one and the thought ... this looks like a continuation. A great job with the first one and an equally great one with this with a setup for a third.

Keep it going

Hugs

Very Interesting Meriana!!

This story almost has the feel of Gaby about it. Poor Christopher (Drew) keeps getting mistaken for a girl who likes to model clothes. Every time he enters that store, girls clothes seems to be attracted to him and ladies make comments about trying them on for them. I do hope Chris doesn't get frustrated and develop that sense of hyper frustration Drew did when continually mistaken as a girl. Chris is just too sweet.

Excellent story telling Meri. It doesnt matter if English is your native language or not, you tell a story extremely well!@

*hugs*

A Special Talent

Meri,

You have a rare talent - the ability to tell a complete story in less than 10K bytes, without making it "feel" tissue-thin. I look forward to your future works.
