AP Pronouns

The AP came out awhile back with a new revised edition of their style book, cleverly titled the "AP Style Book". It is pretty much the bible for newspaper writing, but I don't think any broadcast personalities have ever heard of it, much less read it. ;-)

In the new edition they specify the use of they, their, etc. for those that identify outside of the more common binary gender designations. The artificial ze, etc. terms just rub me the wrong way. I doubt they will ever be accepted by the general population.

So I'm off to check the textbook store for the newest edition. They are required for undergrad journalism students, we had a whole section of our class just learning the Style book, and yes there was a test at the end.

Nah

I believe I should refer to myself in public only as 'we' ^_^

But of course!

Though maybe that is what they call me when I had had a lot of coffee. ^_^

But you notice that is a 'we' and not 'We' as I am just a minor royal :)

For uz PixZies,
