I was looking at my read count, yes I do that often, and I notice not a lot of people have ventured into my new tale "It's a fluffy, pink, Christmas Little Katie."
I think I understand why and I would like to put everyone's mind at ease.
This story is something light and magical and will contain none of the following:
1) The main character will not be abused.
2) The main character will not be kidnapped.
3) The main character will not die
4) There are no evil secondary characters
5) No Gatorade bottles were crushed in the writing of the story
6) My mother does not make an appearance in the story
7) All conflict is internal and quickly rectified
It does however have the following:
1) Scenes of love and acceptance between a child and his/her guardian
2) Descriptions of dressing and getting hair done and all the lovely trappings a young girl adores during the holidays
3) An all white cat named Mirage
4) Christmas magic
5) Snow
6) A party dress
7) A sweet happy ended that will bring tears of joy to your eyes.
So fear not and give it a glance.

Probably the cutest blog entry
This has got to be one of the cutest blog entries I've read in a while. It made me laugh out loud.
I promise to go read it and then try one of your scary ones.
Hugs,
Kaleigh
We are not afraid
You write it we will read it.Having read all of your works this is a major change in story type for you.It is light and happy with good in-depth characters and behaviour we have come to expect from you.Thank you for writing it.To paraphrase "write it and they will come(eventually)".Keep up the good work.

Double negatives
Be carefull of the double negatives, as they make a positive!
Sorry, I just could not resist this temptation. I understand what you are trying to say, though the grammar police secret agent in my head just would not shut up!
So far I am enjoying your little story very much.

what double negatives
I don't see any?

Writing is what you do when you put pen to paper, being an author is what you do when you bring words to life
well... technically speaking, but who cares?
When you use a colon to start a list, even if you divide them into a numbered list each on their own line, they are technically still all one sentence. Thus, when you said that it did not include, and then in the list said things did NOT happen... It was technically a list of double negatives.
Extremely pedantic, and no one really pays all that much attention to this particular case, but, some grammarians just won't give up ;P
Though I do believe (hope?) that Jessica was simply joking around with you, that she wasn't seriously disturbed by this...
