I've started a repost of Unaccounted Gains: Accountancy Can Be Deadly. I said previously that I would repost Book 1 when the new Book 3 was ready, but that is taking longer than expected .... so I'll post Book 1 weekly in order to remind me to work on Book 3!
Of course, the whole book is available on Kindle as well!
I've published the epilogue for Moving On and that is it for Tammy for a while - but at least you get a bumper 10k words chapter!
Once again, many thanks to Snowfall for her wonderful help with the Moving On series.
My plan now is to work on a story involving some characters called Heather and Sophie and set it in Cornwall, how does that sound? The odd short story might also appear.
The final part of Tammy's book "Moving On" has been published although there may be an epilogue to this book.
This does not mean that Tammy's story has finished, only this part! After the epilogue, however, there will be a break before new Tammy whilst I work on other projects.
Many thanks to Snowfall for all her help during the series.
I wrote 'Vote For Amy' for the June 2017 UK General Election and now we have a December vote to look forward to ....? This gave me an opportunity to tidy up Vote For Amy.
Sorry, there's no Tammisode today as I'm rewriting the chapter before even Snowfall gets a look at it.
Normal service will resume next weekend, probably!
I had been working almost 7/7 on a long-term project that I've mentioned once or twice. This was impacting my home life but I couldn't see it at the time
I've finally found the time to write. I've had an interesting few months and haven't had much time for anything. Anyway, Moving On chapter 4 lands today and Chapter 5 shouldn't be too far behind.
The latest part of Tammy's current story, Moving On, has just been published on here (expect weekly chapters) but much of my time is being spent on the first Tammy stories, Tom's Fireworks and Tamara's Debut. Both have been extensively revised and many many typos fixed and new material added! I'll launch these as a 430 page novel on Kindle next week, with any luck, but the original serialised book will remain on BCTS.
I'm on the Algarve (Portugal for non-Europeans) and trying to get a tan.
I brought a few e-books with me and I'm currently chortling through the first EAFOAB book. I've (from memory) read it thrice from the beginning beforehand but it still makes me smile - thank you Angharad for the perfect holiday read.
The final (for now) Deathtrap chapter has been published today. I'd like to acknowledge the assistance of Alecia Snowfall in the series, not only in those chapters marked as such.
Deathtrap (and a possible Epilogue) will be the last Tammy story for a while. It's my intention to take time to rewrite parts of Tammy, starting with Tom's Fireworks, and publish them on Kindle later in the year. I'm expecting that the whole series will remain free on BCTS for six months and then I'll ask Erin and team to remove the Tammy stories.
Deathtrap 18 has been published two days later than intended as I wasn't initially happy with my editing. The next chapter should appear on Wednesday and the story ends on Chapter 20.
To answer a few queries, yes I am alive and back at the keyboard after a long summer & autumn schedule. One of my recent tasks was to start a new Tammy story and I really needed this going before Christmas so that is now in production and the first chapter is looking finished. One lucky person has already seen the first draft of the text but there's been a title change and some heavy editing since that text was seen.
There's one more chapter of Eve to come and that concludes Book 1 (properly this time!). There may be a Book 2 - but I have other priorities right now!
I was going through my files today and came across a folder I clearly hadn't looked in for a few years. I have six unpublished chapters which I will put together as a single story, it won't be a Book 2 but more of a conclusion to the existing book.
Tammy, meanwhile, is taking a break while I think about some new stories.
As I've said elsewhere, today's scheduled posting of Aftermath won't happen. However, we have a general election in the UK on Thursday which goes ahead regardless, hence my short story.
Finally, I have published the final chapter of Tammy:It's Complicated
Sorry for the delay, but my muse went for a very long walk and it was only this morning that I felt sure I could put together a decent chapter - although that's for everyone to decide!
Meanwhile, it'll be a while before the next Tammy series (which has no title yet), but I'll first return to work on Unaccounted Gains
For 48 hours only I am giving away kindle copies of the first Unaccounted Gains book, Accountancy Can Be Deadly. This offer expires at the end of Sunday.
On Thursday evening (BBC2 9pm) a programme will be aired in the UK that will appeal to transphobes across the planet. Discredited Dr Kenneth Zucker is quoted as an expert concerning young (pre-teen & teen) transgendered children. One suggestion is:
“A four-year-old might say he wants to be a dog. But do you go out and buy him dog food?”
Mermaids is said to be very concerned and were not asked to participate in the programme.
I've had another go at my website and now have two, it's a work in progress! www.shiraz.me.uk is the main site. Work on Tammy 7 continues and I hope to supply a few thousand words a week.
Just back from the clinic and the pharmacy. I have cystitis! A week of antibiotics starts now. I have the greatest sympathy for anyone who suffers with this
