Problems

Printer-friendly version

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

We may have some files that have been corrupted, perhaps during the crashes on Magda.

For now, we're going to run a simplified site, nearly everything is there, tho the colors and letter spacing look terrible. I'll work on this tomorrow.

Hugs to all,
Erin

Comments

I half thought...

...it was just me, when pages started appearing wonky, as roaming around not logged in on another browser last night seemed to reveal the site as usual, and clearing my cache on Firefox seemed to temporarily sort things out.

But this is definitely better than last night's wonky layout - this temporary theme appears to be the bigcloset (default) layout coupled with the bluemarine colour scheme.

I'd imagine that now we're back up and running (sort of), the admin team will continue with their original plans to migrate the dozen-or-so sites formerly hosted on Eva and get them back online before returning to tweak the BCTS theme back to its previous settings. Let's not forget that running these sites this is probably a spare time project for many of them and their only reward is seeing all the community interaction (stories + blogposts and the comments on each).

Well done all of you! :)

Found a problem

I had this problem with the temporary version:
Copy and paste into MS-Word does not work as earlier. The copy seemes to work, but when trying to paste it just freezes my puter. I need to work around it like this (could be used by others that like to have their own page-layout):
Change to "Printer-friendly version" -> Mark the wanted text -> Copy -> Paste ( to an empty document ) -> Change to Text format -> Save the text ( But look out where it might be dropped. I found my text in quite another folder than I had guessed ) -> Use your prefered word-programme and edit the text to fit into your other Bike-files.

I edit the different parts into blocks of about 500 pages DIN A4.

Good luck
Ginnie

No problem here.

I just tried the Copy/Paste on my computer and it worked as always. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium and Use the latest Firefox (20.0.1) browser. I copy and paste from the "Printer Friendly Version" into MSWord (Office 2020). Seems to work as it always did.

Happiness is being all dressed up and HAVING some place to go.

Almost

Look at the heading. On this screen (for me, at least) it isn't bad but on the home screen it is almost impossible to make out the blue links against the slightly-different-blue background.

Thanks Erin, wondered about

the new color format and other changes. Thought the site had had a hiccup. :0

You could always ...

... run around screaming "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me." Whilst the rest of us get withdrawal symptoms from a lack of Bike.

Robi

Yea!

It's getting closer to normal. (LOL).

Getting Better by the day

Only problem now is having to type in security code numbers to gain access.
It would be better if they were legible. Good job I'm used to reading my own handwriting.

That should only happen once

Is that still happening?
