which means i'm at bit at two's and three's!

Let me just say, the 'improvements' to BC today are not. Seriously folks, you've 'fixed' stuff that wasn't broke and made putting stuff up more difficult, there are writers on here who will now not think its worth their time and effort to try and post anything. Oh i know you have done it with the best of intentions but like designers/programmers everywhere, you have made simple stuff more difficult because you, rather tham the end user think its better. Can we have the old, simple upload back please?

Now thats off my chest, Monday. Well i made good progress with Trixie, moving things along nicely even if necessary research did take up a lot of my writing time.

Tuesday was forecast cold but bright which worked well for the day's plan. My brother drives coaches for a living and since Boxing Day has been travelling the country with a ballet troupe culminating in best part of a week in Bath, just down the road from here. So we agreed that we'd meet up and have a couple of days out whilst he was here so we arranged to do the first of these on Tuesday, plans were made we both headed into Brizzle to meet up, things were looking good for the day, a trip to the coast. Well his boss decided to throw a spanner in the works, five minutes before our rendezvous he rang to demand an immediate return to the depot in the Peak District.

Well that put a spanner in the works, big style. So instead of a relaxing day out we grabbed a few minutes to talk on a bus back to Bath so he could pack and collect his coach whilst i made my way home. I'm just glad we hadn't paid out on train tickets or museum entries, all the more upset as i'd been looking forward to the break in routine for weeks. We might get the chance to go for a meal on Saturday as he's got to come back to finish the tour on Sunday!

Which brings us to today. Well it wasn't frosty this morning but there was thick fog which is still lingering late afternoon. I've made a sausage casserole, proper Lincolnshire links, we'll have that with white cabbage and mash for uz tea. My writing head hasn't engaged properly tho' so i've not added much to Trixie yet, i'll have another go later.

Despite, rather than aided by, the latest BC changes, i have managed to put the final chapter of the first book of Gaby up for you to enjoy click here https://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/96926/gaby-book-1-ani... to read Back Home which is missing the pictures as there is no way to put them up at present. I hope you've enjoyed reading the missing bits here on BC and encourage you to follow through with what comes next, there's only another million words or so spread through 24 books to get up to date! lol

thats it for now

Nothing has been changed, so it can't be changed back. If you are having problems posting, let us know what they are and we may be able to solve them.

it was something Piper did, she's hinted at something going on a different thread, its cleared up now and i've posted the images to the Gaby chapter.

For info, apart from continuous 503 errors, the upload page had lost all the text controls, changed font and wouldn't allow images to be selected let alone uploaded! There was more weirdness too with regard to file tagging/formatting but i'm a bear of small brain and have no idea what any of it meant.

How one works is almost completely visible; the other, invisible. Spending time one one is an aid to health; the other, not so much.

Both pinch though, at least the infernal laptop my employer sent. I swear there are teeth behind the bottom of that screen; no coincidence its maker rhymes with hell.
