Yes ladies and germs, yours truly is about to tie the knot with my best friend, my housemate, my POSSLQ (Person of Opposite Sex Sharing Living Quarters)!!!!
We went and got the marriage license today. Now there's just some busywork(minor paperwork) to finish up and we can get this show on the road.
We're looking at late March as the final date, but I'm shooting for April 15th(My B'day) so I won't forget the anniversary! LOL!!!
now...what was the address of that ""IMPRESSIVE CLERGYMAN?"

Especially Andrea who was the only one, it seems, to catch the Princess Bride reference. Seriously though, this is something that I never thought I would be doing.
Marriage. This literally came out of nowhere and SHE asked ME! I guess I'm still struggling to process all of this, but I'm looking forward to it.
I'm long past my "Best By" date, but I guess there's still some life in this old gal yet, even though there are more miles on my odometer than there are left in my waranty.

It sounds like a miracle, but take your time and enjoy the preparations together. It's going to be a big day for both of you and one you'll both want to remember. Remember, if you rush a miracle you get a rotten miracle ;)

A girl I worked with many years ago once went to a valentines Day wedding. I thought “genius”. That guy will never forget the anniversary. Though he may overpay for gifts. May Feb. 15 would be a better day.
