I am not sure, but I think I may be losing my mind.

now before you get yourselves upset by that statement, let me explain, as best I can.

See, for the last couple of months, every once in a while I have had a sensation that either means I'm becoming delusional because I read too many comic books, or a sign that something very weird is happening to me.

The sensation is this feeling of energy being pulled into me from the world around me. This energy gathers around the palms of my hands, and forms an invisible ball that I feel like I can manipulate and even join with the ball in the other hand to make a bigger ball.

On other occiasions, that energy goes from my hands to my shoulders and down both sides of my back, giving me the sensation of having wings of energy that are getting ready to unfurl like a butterfly's wings.

Then, last night as I laid in bed, not only could I feel the energy in the palms of my hands, I could feel it in the soles of my feet. Not in a ball shape, but almost like a shoe that just covers the bottom the foot.

So with this happening, and me having no clue what's going on, or why, you can understand why I'm starting to worry about whatever little sanity I've been holding on to the last couple of years ...

Am I crazy? Should I go check myself into the nut house? What do you guys think?

I don't think you're crazy. There are many ways we can deal with stress, if you having pleasant tactile hallucinations enjoy them!

Worrying about whether your crazy can drive you there for real, so just enjoy life as it comes.

Diabetic Neuropathy?

I get similar sensations in my legs and feet, that resolve themselves if I excercise enough and watch my sugar. May want to check with a Doctor.

Well....

Believe it or not, we have lots of nerve endings in our hand and feet. People who have had amputations experience phantom pain and other sensations in said amputated limb. This is because the brain expects that limb to be there, and when it is not, the creates a signal to try and "find" that limb. Oddly enough people who have had no amputation are also known to experience phantom limb like pain and sensations. It is a type of hallucination. Can be brought on by extreme stress and/or exhaustion. You probably experienced something like that. I occasionally wake up from a dead sleep feeling like i was shocked by electricity...
Anyways...its okay to be crazy. Its when you don't know your crazy that's not OK.
