of 2024!

Yep, somehow four weeks have up and gone already and i don't seem to have accomplished a great deal.

Anyway, so far this week, everything is ticking along smoothly. On Monday i did a few chores, had a trip out for some provisions and did a bit of work on the new book. Today has been much the same, i've now got 93/100 of the riding done and i've got the text done for 84/100. Another good session maybe Friday and i'll be onto the illustrations.

Sandwiched between all this creativeness, yesterday i took Foxy out for a ride, a little hop out to Chippenham for sausage and chips. There was a braw wind keeping temperatures low but it was otherwise not a bad day for riding. The ride out was pretty direct but on the return i added in a few twiddles and ups and downs - don't want it to get boring! The ride just ticked over the 100km with a surprising 879m of up - i need all of those i can get as i'm hoping to do an extreme metre munching event in August with 3200m squeezed into just 100km around the Peak District, i thought the 100 mile, 4900m was perhaps a bit too much but i may change my mind. At any rate, it gives me something to focus my riding on, might even get in a 'training camp' when the days are a bit longer.

That about rounds things up for today, i'll be back with more news and Gaby on Sunday,
