First off the good news, got a new cat, a grey and dark brown calico kitten that is growing fast.

It would appear that the Gulf States Cooperative Council are considering a Kuwaiti proposal to carry out sex tests on immigrants wishing to work there with the intention of preventing entry by transgender people.

I do wonder if I came to the wrong planet because I was seeking one with intelligent life forms!

Admittedly the story's in the Daily Mail, but apparently Gulf Cooperation Countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) are to use a medical test developed by Kuwait to supposedly 'detect' homosexuals and prevent them from entering their respective country.

First, if this law was in California in 1944, maybe Holly Hart wouldn't have had a radical hysterectomy at the age of ONE DAY:

The Minnesota Senate passed a bill authorizing same-sex marriage today. The Minnesota House had passed the same bill Friday. Governor Mark Dayton has said that he will sign it in a ceremony tomorrow. This would make Minnesota the twelfth state to authorize same-sex marriage.

The new law will take effect August 1st.

Community at odds over transgender transition at high school

In burgers? In Russia horse meat is much more expensive than beef. And sausage made of horse meat (called kazy) is not very easy to find outside of some regions and is very expensive. So I can understand management of burger joints as suppliers are bound to charge more for horse meat. But why is all this panic like someone is trying to poison somebody? Horse meat is good for you! :-)
