Regretably my work situation is too unsettled at the moment
I do wish you well with this tale.
It can go so many ways. I think originally you went the revenge route as the child was too damaged.
I would like to see someday a victim like this struggle but manage to find a better way forward. To live a complete life within the limits imposed but THEIR life.
A couple questions the story may wish to answer.
Why was this done to him? Just to hide seems silly or to hurt the mom as it would have been far easier to kill the child and bury him in some remote place. The mom would likely never get closure.
Why would the dad agree even after a bitter divorce?
Why even so this? Some bizarre way to destroy enemies of the State? To create the perfect undercover spy? Why?
And no rejection of the transplanted organs? So did they somehow clone a womb and ovaries from the boy's own stem cells?
Otherwise who was the unfortunate *donor*?
This also suggests IF the technique could be learned they could somewhat restore the boy. He might remain shorter and far more effeminate than he should have been, even after cosmetic surgery and male organ replacement but at least he would be a man body and soul.
Just how adaptable is the child IF he/she is treated with honesty and love? Can the child make a success of being female?
I understand how the logic of the story likely demands he/she fall into vengeance but it would be sweet to see him/her make something better out of this nightmare.
Good luck.

And will the child get some measure of justice against those two so-called parents or the doctor(s) involved. Justice, not vengeance.
