So I just finished writing Pinks and I was thinking about doing some minor edits, and then posting it. I have plans to rewrite it, but I'd like to post it for the enjoyment of everyone first.
What exactly do you do when you rewrite something and repost it?

If, the re-write will be posted only a short time after the original is posted, say less then 6 months, it is likely that the re-write won't be read by as many people who read the original. There are so many stories, by so many fabulous authors published here, that it is hard to keep up with what is posted. I'd wait to you have the best possible story and then publish it. Unless you are doing something for a specific contest or there is perhaps a seasonal context to the story (Christmas/Haloween) why rush something that is inferior.
