Any good mermaid stories out there? Amazon have been disappointing me lately in that area

Places I suggest ...

There was a mermaid series that has, I think, 'scrolled' off of our center panel. Something like 'Tails of the Nearanthi". My spelling is wrong, sigh.

In the top panel of the main page, pick "free stories", then ask your browser to find "tails". At the bottom are the next/prev and goto page buttons.

Then check 'premium stories' the same way. A one-month Hatbox Membership is only $10 USD, and BCBS >always< needs money ...

Try our BCTS search, try narrowing it by 'Fiction' and 'Series'.

Search beyond Amazon (Google 'mermaid stories'). You >will< get flooded, of course. Mermaids are part of the folklore of many countries (plus sailors) across many centuries. The 'Sirens' in Homer's Odyssey are arguably mermaids.
---
Maybe Literotica. They also have search.

TGStoryTime had a Mermaid series, but the author found it way too personal, got scared and may have taken it down. Sad.

TGS may have other mermaid stories, again, try search.

Search Function Here...

...provides 360 entries for +mermaid +tail . Of course, a number of those are duplicate entries of chapter stories.

The one that I was looking for, unfortunately unfinished, was A Summer Tail, by Enemyoffun. The author said there were probably five chapters left to write; that was a couple of years ago.

To Embrace a Mermaid

laika's picture

by Maeryn Lamonte is one of my all-time favorite mermaid stories
and one I always recommend when this topic comes up:

And currently I'm really enjoying Amethyst's Children of the Naethari,
a real edge-of-your seat tale with some wonderful mermaids
(er, I mean Naethari) + despicable scary human villains,
but I think someone already mentioned this story...

My version of a mermaid's tail is here: Josh the Mermaid :)

It's a little different in that it involves a mermaid in the real world. :)

Hugs,
Erin

DRU Universe

If I remember correctly, the Dark Realms Universe (DRU) published here on BCTS also had [at least] one story ark with mermaids.
