I was wondering how hard it wouldit be to create a word processor section where we could write stories using a similar interface to what I am using now, I understand google already has something similar, though I am not sur how to access it. We could see hoe the text would look on BCTS before we release it This is more of a question for @Erwin I suspect I really do not like what I am currently using (Libra Office writer)what do yo think ? Does the idea have any merit?

Do you mean type directly to the BC site? If so, I like to keep my chapters in my documents file, also, a lot of us send chapters to an editor or reviewer before posting. How would this work? The way we do it now is simple after posting the first chapter.

easy
one, you could type it on your pc first, do your editing, keep your copy, etc. then just cut and past into the web browser program and see a preview so it can be adjusted as needed.

if you want to see one set up a g-mail acct then click the box one the upper right to drive and other uses

Remember that with Google
"You are their datasource". Your information is what they exist for. They then sell it to advertisers and anyone else who cares to stump up the money.
They feed off your lifestyle, your contacts, your whole existance.
Go ahead and use Google as long as you are aware of their modus operandii.
As for me? Sorry, I won't touch anything owned or run by google with a 40ft barge pole.
my life, is my life and is not for the likes of Google. This is also why I eschew all social media. I've never even seen a FB or Twitter or Instagram or Snapchat or any other SM site. They are not social media sites any longer but are actively engaged in Social Engineering. The use of FB by the Trump team last year should be an eye opener as to the way of the future. They used a company called Cambridge Analytica to send targetted ads to Trump supporters that directly addressed the issues those people put on FB and basically said 'Trump has your back'. It was personal and direct. That is IMHO 'social engineering'.
I know that this might seem extreme to some that that is my POV and I will take it to my grave.

Good reasons
We have good reasons for not having WysiWyg editors in BC. Here are two:
1. Overhead on the speed of the site. Our processors are already having trouble keeping up.
2. Too big a chance of people losing what they've entered in an internet glitch.
