TopShelf TG Fiction in the BigCloset!
Today's the first time I've been in a fairly public environment -- a motel lobby -- with the computer on Topshelf. I don't think the logo and header would attract attention, but that bondage ad at the bottom of the story pages seems difficult for a casual glance to miss, and it still doesn't seem to be something we can opt out of.
Any chance of fixing that?

it blocks all ads so thy don't show, but that can reduce the site income from ad hits.
Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.
Not a lot
Only the Amazon ads that appear sometimes in the side bars are paid for by the hit. All the other ads are paid by time.

This sort of Ad is why Starbucks in the UK are blocking the site? It is also blocked at Sainsbury's store cafe's.

I doubt it. BC is blocked in lots of places and has been blocked for YEARS before we ever had any ads simply because we carry transgender stories. You know, perversion.

If anyone is finding BCTS blocked where they want to see it
then use a Virtual Private Network (VPN). There are both paid and free versions available. A free version will work just fine if you aren't streaming video.
Basically, what you do is find a free service, then enter the IP addresses into the VPN fields of your phone/computer. (I think many web browsers will also let you do this.) Once you do this all of your internet traffic goes in an encrypted stream between you and the VPN service, where it then connects with the rest of the world. To the world it looks like your computer is at the VPN server, which is hopefully not blocked.
This is a good way to prevent people from picking up your passwords, banking info, etc. when you are in an internet cafe. It is a good way to avoid the local firewall. And it is a good way to get an internet service that is not available in your country.
Be careful
Some advertised "free" VPNs are infected with malware, and even some paid ones. Do your research.

Not just malware...
Some free VPNs, and even some paid ones, will happily monitor your traffic and sniff/scrape anything unsecured that passes through them. Use with extreme caution!
