i read a story ages ago, and i thought i'd bought it online, but can't find it on my list on lulu or amazon.
basically a young man sleeps with girlfriend, thus unknowingly causing her to lose her ability to do magic, her mother seeks revenge turning him into a woman, and he unexpectedly ends up with great power.
i hope this rings a bell for someone, the story came to mind several days ago and i can't seem to track it down.

I think I remember this one.
If this is the story I recall I can't help you with the name or author. Ut a few more details might help jog other memories.
The guy in question was a college freshman and had slept with the girl before her 18th birthday causing her to lose her powers. At the college was a sorority of witches led by the girls mother, the sorority was in the habit of turning guys into girls for revenge and the guy was given the treatment. However he came from a long line of powerful witches which gave him the ability to resist the worst effects of the spell.
He was kidnapped by the sorority with the intention of raping him before his 18th but due the fact he was born in a differnt time zone they miscalculated the start of his birthday so he got his powers and defeated them.

i vaguely remember the extra details, and found the story Legacy by The Professor on another site.
i've been busy rebuilding an old car and this story (or rather bits of it) came to mind while doing tedious degreasing work and has stayed in my mind since, and now i can reread it and put it back out of mind
