One of the big issues of traveling is that sometimes my only access to BigCloset is via a PDA mobile phone. When I'm in 3G area, the mainpage isn't too bad to download, but when in GPRS it does seem to take its time, especially with all the graphics and formatting.
One thing that some sites do is implement a mobile version which formats better for these devices.
Two example are news.bbc.co.uk and www.neowin.net
www.neowin.net automatically detects it is a mobile PDA and diverts the browser to mobile.neowin.net which shows a site with no formatting or graphics, which loads very quickly
news.bbc.co.uk, translates the left menu and puts it at the top as a dropdown, which makes the whole page easier to read and scroll through - a PDA screen has a much lower screen size.
I wonder if sometime could be implemented easily for topshelf since Drupal appears to have a mobile formatting interfaces. I found two sites quite interesting.

Since these would provide a smaller page, it might be way to reduce bandwidth. The would be good for mobile users that pay per KB, and also reduce the load on BigClosets servers and line.

Good idea
I'll look into it. :)
