I had a rough time sleeping last night. I’m not one for nightmares but I did have one last night. In this dream I was outted at work. I was harassed and degraded by people I have worked with for 7 years. I had nurses that I really liked; scream at me for even looking at them. I guess that this is just me dealing with my fears of being outted.

I don't care what time it might be. If you EVER need someone to talk to, you know you can talk with me, and I'll listen.
I won't sit here and try to tell you that your fears are ungrounded, but I DO think you underestimate your co-workers. Look at the way they treat me! Unless they say something different behind my back, I'm treated with respect and real friendship, and I dealt with all those people for 5 years BEFORE I began my RLT, so they knew me as my male self, yet they all seem quite willing to understand and accept me as Cathy.
I still think you should talk with you-know-who, but that decision is going to have to be up to you. I KNOW she would NEVER out you, and she CAN, and will help, if you'll let her.
Whatever your decision ends up being, I hope you know you can count on me to be there for you, if you need me...if you'll let me.
