Hi folks.
I know this is a lame excuse, but I don't know whether I am going to be able to post this week as usual.
The thing is, I am drawn like a moth to the flame to the British cyclists in the Olympics--not to mention a fairly unbelievable run by Bolt and well, I just haven't had the time to get into the story.
It may come as a shock to you lot out there that this coming chapter will be the last one, but that's the way it is. I want to make sure it's a good-un and I flatly refuse to post a rushed job here.
So stand by your stilettos, it will be on its way very soon and maybe it will a bit longer than usual, but I hope it will be worth waiting for.

You can really wrap up all of that in one episode? I'm on tenterhooks! (At least until the tenters come back and need them.)

To truly wrap it up without any loopholes will take another 4-6 chapters. Me, I like the story and I'd like to see it completed in a satisfactory manner. Currently, there are way too many stories in hiatus because of r.l.

Maybe you should read his post again, then. He didn't say that his story is "in hiatus because of r.l." He just said that he wasn't sure that he could post this week.
You may doubt that he will complete it "in a satisfactory manner," but I believe he will, especially since he assures us that this episode will be a "good-un."

Take the time to do it right. You have many loose ends to tie up, at least the big ones.You don’t want to paint yourself in a corner.
I anticipate a fun, and maybe surprising ending and the possibility of more adventures for our heroine, I suspect that is what he will become. As to the murdered girl, I still have hopes with our heroine’s help she will take over the body of one of her killers and transform it back into the body they killed, karmic justice and all.
Or maybe she will get the body of that unethical bitch reporter. In any case, she needs to be taught a lesion, the bitch.

I have to say that I didn't say anything about a hiatus. I'm just easily distracted and when you have a team of cyclists like we have, it would be churlish of me not to be at least a bit patriotic and cheer them on wouldn't it?
Truth is, I'm a lazy bastard and find watching our lads and lasses in blue and white, far more entertaining than The Sight.
Still after a long all-nighter and half the afternoon, it's done.
