For what's it's worth, I posted the last two chapters of Out of the Blue Part II: Into the Fray. But only chapter seven is showing up on the main "stories" page. And I'm wondering what happened to Chapter 6. If anyone knows, an answer would be much appreciated.

BCTS Rules
You are only allowed to have one chapter of a story showing on the main page at a time. You can also only have 4, I believe, stories on the main page at a time. All others are delisted, they are still readable but don't show on the main page. The delisting is done manually, so you may of seen multiple chapters showing in the past, before an admin got on to delist them.
I believe this is done so the limited space on the main page is shared among everyone.
A little leeway
What Becky says is in essence correct, however we do allow a little leeway when an author posts two chapters of the same story at the same time. Both posts will stay up for a short time then the earliest will disappear from the front page but it is on the site and accessed by the menu on the right of any of your stories or this page http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/drew-miller

You can't choose your relatives but you can choose your family.
Usually, they’re also retained until...
...someone places them in the author's ‘book,’ so it becomes trivial to find previous chapters from earlier posts. They run down the side of the page, where they’re fairly easy to find. Usually, when I do the arranging, I don’t instantly unsticky the story. I usually wait an hour or two to allow for those who don’t refresh the page all that often, but sometimes that interim is cut short if there are a lot of stories being posted, since the point is to allow new stories or episodes to stay in the ‘Quickcut’ section for a reasonable period.
