I had to go to my garage to get my exhaust sorted (on the car - duh!)and while waiting saw this article which was largely sympathetic about a six year old tg 'girl'.
I hope the link works.

Paddy or Patty?
Sounds about right, doesn't it? Sounds like parents who are more concerned about their child's good health rather than appearances or social standing.

Sympathetic, but only to a point....
It annoyed me that the article kept referring to the child as "he."

We had a similar situation
at a group therapy meeting. The councilor next door had a couple of parent who had a 7 year old TG girl, and were trying to figure out the best things they could do for her. It was a very special meeting.
It is slow, but the times are slowly changing.
