I went a little hog-wild whilst writing my latest work, Battle for Earth and in addition to the usual cover images I went a bit further and created 16 character portraits to accompany the story. These aren't something that I've hand-drawn, but rather composite photos which have been extensively edited to create unique images that resemble cut out portraits. Some of them, particularly the ones I made of Duvak, Vakrexid, and Velspatt (the alien characters) were quite difficult to produce, but some of the others took less than an hour each to produce.

While, I'm here I thought I might post an update for those who might be interested. The story is up to around 120,000 words and I've now split the story into four parts with an interlude which takes place between part three and four. Parts one through three are completed, but I'm just getting started on part four. In addition I've also started work on a (nearly) complete rewrite of Virtually Twisted and an as yet untitled superhero tale involving psychic powers and technology so advanced its virtually indistinguishable from magic.

Previously I created teaser images, but I've changed them quite a lot since then. These I've actually uploaded to the website (the others will be coming soon), but I only have the ability to upload one image at a time which is rather tedious.
