I posted this on FaceBook and thought it applied here too.
Since I’ll be pretty much out of pocket for the next few weeks, I want to wish my friends and family here, as well as all who would like to be friends, the best holidays ever!

This is a wonderful time for us if we’re with loved ones and are accepted, but it can be a difficult time if we are alone or are not accepted. In my case, I’m surrounded by family but not allowed to be the real me.
The true value of a group like this is that we all understand and accept each other’s true selves! I can honestly say that I love you all, no matter your race, religion or lack thereof, gender, sexual orientation, or any other thing that tries to stuff us into boxes pre-designed by others. I love you because you are friends and family that I have chosen or who have chosen me: That’s enough, that we love and support one another! I hold you all close in my heart… ALL!
So here’s wishing you the best holiday season possible… You are all in my prayers!!!

I feel for you yet feel hurt too
I am sorry for you though I am very much like you. I like the blessing of family, but wish I found some acceptance with them.
I feel hurt in that we have communicated and have shared things with one another. But I suspect I am not one of the three you counted to be here. I am use to people counting and not being in the in group, but it hurts when people count that way, though I suspect you are hurt too.
