Yep, she Is a young French girl who came from a competition for new talent people and has had a very successful career, I am her fan, I love her songs. She has a great deal going for her. The albums she did with Melanie Farmer,
Gourmandises, and Mes Courants Electriques, were exceptional. She walked away,
and got married, and had nothing to do with her fan's for years, and though she
puts out some good music now (More in step with styles like her husband.), they
are no where near as good as those produced by Farmer and Boutonnat, who discovered
her, developed her, and who wrote the music for those first two albums.
Moi Lolita, J'en Ai Marre, J'ai Pas Vingt Ans, A Contre-Courant... are all some of
my favorite songs ever.
If you go to the following link, I think you'll be able to see why I've always thought
she was one of the perfect girls. The one on Stars From Home. Oh, and they invariably
lipsink on French TV, because studio's vary so much that the quality can not be the same
from one to the other (Their excuse), but you can see her do that in front of Eiffel Tower
as well.
My most favorite comment on any youtube video ever, was when they asked who was more sexy,
Alizee Jacotey, or Megan Foxx. The most popular answer was: "Who the F*ck is Megan Fox?"
As in so many things, though, that was years ago.
As for STanman. Yes, she is selling one slightly used, slightly soapy goldfish! I can send
you the Lyrics for J'en Ai Marre, if you like. It's about cranky people, and her desire to lounge
