I noticed the hit count for visitors is over 19,793,000. Wasn't just yesterday that we (I think I'm allowed to say 'we') hit 10,000,000. What a great job done by Erin and the others who know how to make this refuge so nice.

Posting Versus Checking For comments
Well, you are way ahead of me on posting. Still, I have this ridiculous idea that someone might have posted a comment on one of my older stories. I think there's an expiration date for commenting that the authors aren't privy to. There's probably one for kudos, too. Although I don't understand why.

At the current rate of progress, I think that there's a better than even chance that the magic number will be hit tomorrow - though for safety I am defining 'tomorrow' as 'before midnight PST'. However, I believe that there is an outside chance that I will see the magic number before I close down at around 01:00 GMT, seven hours earlier.
Congratulations to Erin, Piper, Cat, and others for the highly improved site (good to see a Brit in there, and a local at that). In any circumstances, it would be impressive; as a labour of love, it's fantastic.
My thanks to all who work on the site, and to those who contribute the stories, and not forgetting those who add the blogs and comments. BC is a wonderful space that I count myself very lucky to have available.
