Let’s keep the movement towards equality in New York State moving forward. I agree that GENDA should be the next unifying social priority in New York State. Please join us with Joanna Solmonsohn, the Long Island Program Organizer at the Empire State Pride Agenda. Joanna leads the Pride Agenda’s community campaign for LGBT equality and justice on Long Island.

Sen. Flanagan has announced 3 Town Hall meetings.

Accordingly, he has stated, "As our state moves forward, I hope that you will join me to discuss the issues important to you and your family."

It is an imperative that transgender/gender variant folks attend to demonstrate to Senator Flanagan that we are a part of the Long Island Community and “We want our rights Now! Being a second class citizen is unacceptable!

Joanna & Cindy are working diligently with a very dedicated group to organize a turnout in #'s from the LGBT community & allies as well to attend the February 2, 2012 - Town Hall meeting at 7PM at the Middle Country Public Library Centereach.

It is important to note that GENDA in NYS, will also be a key issue in gaining Federal Civil Rights (ENDA). Please join me and attend this important meeting, and spread the word.
