I am really missing the comments I hardly get anymore. I will still keep writing I guess but I lack feedback on how sections of my story are going. Just to let you know comments may not make me change where a story is going, but they can improve what needs to be improved or help me continue what I am doing right.

I know what you mean
As Enemyoffun says, comments are the lifeblood of most of the authors at this site. Feedback is so important. someone took the time to tell me that I had misnumbered my chapters on the current story. At least I know that person read the story, if nothing else.

Frankly it stinks
Most readers want something for nothing and some non-commenters have the nerve to complain about what stories are being written or not written. How hard is it to say thank you?
Just three months ago I poured hours of work into a story just to get ignored. So I pulled my story and guess what? That brought out the non-commenters to complain. The person couldn't be bothered to read either because they said in a private email, in which they also called me an indian giver, they didn't know when my chapters were coming out. Well it said in the prologue what my schedule was. There's no schedule now at all. I don't feel like wasting my time.

I know the feeling.
It's a pain to spend so much time working on something (and, involving others in editing) to only get a handful (or less) of comments. (I don't count the "thanks, when's the next chapter" comments among the handful.)
A accept that a significant number of readers just don't log in (or won't even register) - Many fear that saying something would somehow hurt them, somehow. Perhaps they're afraid to admit to anyone they read this stuff. But, even for them, Erin provides a way to comment - "Guest Reader"... Anonymous commenting.

I generally like the authors a personal email after I read all their stuff.
I have enjoyed your work, I just have not finished all of it. I had read a few hear and there, but now I am focusing on your stories, it is something I tend to do with authors I like.
I find it hard to critique work. When I like it (and I like yours) I tend to take it as a gestalt.
I do wish you would finish "Chased to Silk" though. It was extremely cute, and I was hooked.
I am a very depressed person. I come to BC to read and uplift my soul. Many stories do not do that, I find stories that treat people as things tend to deepen my depression. As I recently wrote Wren Phoenix about her stories, yours leave me relaxed and in a better state than when I started. They are uplifting. I don't always need a happy ending, but your characters are human, not things. I empathize deeply with them. Does this make sense?
Part of my depression, which I understand a lot of TG folks have, is that I can never be anything other than I am. I notice most stories assume people who are young. I understand why, but there was no way out for me in my youth. So now all I have are these fantasies. If that is all I can have then at least I want good fantasy. You write very well, and I enjoy it, and hope to see more. Greedy that, since I have not yet read all your works. :D
Is this the kind of feedback you wanted? It is harder than it looks for those who have trouble letting their souls shine through on paper.

With OddPOV about writing what I think about something. I just do not want to write a boring review about stories I like and all. I just can not find the words to say how I enjoyed the stories all the time. I like to see "A Sister's Love" and "Chased To Silk" continue. Loved "Shimmy" very much, I also loved "Drawn Togther", "Rescuing Amy", "Tony's Predicament", and "What I Did On My Summer Vacation."
