I just wanted to say a GREAT BIG Thank You to all of you who have written to me offering support and kindness these past few days.
I had to put my beloved Mother in a nursing home this past Wednesday and it almost crushed me! She has lived in lower floor of my house for twenty years and I have taken care of her these last years because she was suffering from Dementia. A horrible disease that affects the mind to a great degree. There is no cure and and the prognosis is bleak for those afflicted with it.
I have cared for her with love and the most tender concern that anyone could have possibly had ...but unfortunately it became too much for me when she was admitted to the hospital this last time being unable to walk and get to day care that I had arranged even with the help of a personal nurse.
Putting her in a nursing home was THE worst thing that I have ever done and I was feeling very low and worthless.

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you too all of you who have written such encouragement and hope in your messages ....it means alot to me personally
