So Far....

Don't lose your confidence if you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again

Work like a soul inspired, 'til the battle of the day is done....well, I'm working as hard as I can. Second blood test results came back with promising PSA levels (Prostate Specific Antigen), but still very high (I'm still at high risk for cancer.) CAT Scan and Cystoscopy showed nothing remarkable, so everything seems fine except for my prostate. I've got a biopsy scheduled for September 7th, and we shall see what we shall see. It might be something as simple as Prostatitis, which is benign, so I'm going to try very hard not to 'borrow tomorrow's problems for today," and rest assured that things are okay. Not an easy task, by any means, but I can do this!

I did have to pick myself up and dust myself off yesterday. Out walking the dog, I had to retrieve his tennis ball that was up behind a retaining wall by the animal shelter down the street. On the way back down, I slipped and fell about three feet onto my hip, hitting my back and head in the process. My hip took the brunt of the impact, but I am sore all over and I have a very dark bruise. You might say I had a reasonably pleasant trip, considering the circumstances.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. Andrea

Thank you 'Drea,

ALISON

' but if anyone can pick themselves up it is you,who can only be described as indefatigable!
How did you know that "Pick yourself up,dust yourself off and start all over again" was taught
to me by my mother many moons ago? And that is what I am doing now,my dear sister.Get well soon.

Feet Down

The natural order of things.

A few decades back my "natural order" was Big Mac and Large Fries. Now. it doesn't even sound appealing.

Progress? Or, have I upset Nature?
