See my earlier blog 'Asking a favor' . . .
. . .where Erin explained how you can create a single file by going to the title page and hitting the printer friendly version button - it will open all the chapters in one file. You can then either save the file as is or further clean it up by going through the file and removing the extraneous header info for each chapter before saving.
I have saved Carversion already but didn't bother to clean it up - it's only a small distraction compared to having to download the chapters one by one and creating a single file by hand.

Took the actions out of my hands! I was preparing for testing the feature on the Bike! Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained!

P.S. Sorry if I made anyone inconvenient, apparently the Bike is big enough to be un-openable in this manner. At least on my computer. Other stories may also take time to load. On the upside the resulting word count for Omega Unicorn Chronicles stands at 897002, apparently.

Somewhere in the middle of the posts to the linked blog Erin says the feature doesn't work on Bike, but does work on pretty much everything else.
Carversion is a huge story
written by another one who has dropped out of sight. I believe I know why she did so, and am bound by my word not to reveal her reasons, but they are valid.
Prue was one of the first people I met on the internet and we grew to be good friends and mutually appreciative of each other's writing skills and ideas. I was privileged to be included in CARVERSION as one of the characters, Cathy, and Prue depicted me pretty well as the person I am.
Prue, if you're still reading out there, please know that I miss you and our talks. Warm up your sheep prod and come back to us, and me.
