Having problems with my router, dunno how long this will take to fix, so Bike may be suspended until I can sort things.

I had issues with mine too, but being on BT made things simple. I just phoned and they sent me a new one. They didn't even care what happened to the old one - which still works if you need it to tide you over.

Hope yours is as easy to fix.

Like Nick I'm on BT but I replaced the supplied router with a Netgear to try and get the signal to penetrate our stone walls with limited success (our house was built before there was electricity and is 'wired' for gas lighting :) ). So I too have a spare BT router if it's any use.

Follow Microsofts advice, connect to the internet and go to their website and click on the fix button. (My bosses computer is having a router problem, and after checking on the internet how to correct it, that was right after turn off and then back on.)

Hope you get your router up and running soon.

Thanks for the offers guys, it seems it might have been my network. I've bought a new one in any case, so now I have a spare.

I did this blog on my little netbook with a dongle - it's still downloading the update for AVG since 7.50 this am. (I haven't used it for a while), It looks set to be downloading for bit longer yet - another 12mbs to go yet.
