Mercifully the Star Trek universe is separate from the various comics universes, or indeed the Comics Retcon Universe. Even more amusing: the Borg attempt to assimilate multiple emotional spectral colours at more-or-less the same time - how the heck would the Collective respond with that much emotion?
Mapping Star Trek races1 to most/least appropriate emotional spectral colours could be interesting...
[1] I deliberately say 'races' as opposed to 'species', as IIRC most can interbreed (at least with humans) and produce viable offspring (who I assume are fertile). Think not so much in the human concept of race as canine breeds. They all look completely different, but can interbreed to produce viable and fertile offspring.
