A slightly odd story idea that came to me in a dream...

A group of teenagers arrive at a disused holiday camp (in the dream it appeared as a pair of linked islands, the North containing a mini-mansion designed for group leaders, the South containing deteriorating simple log platforms and structures designed for use for camper accommodation) determined to 'do it up' as they enjoyed their times there and didn't want it sold off to a developer.

They arrive to find their crossdressing youth leader and his heavily pregnant wife already present in the house - she wasn't too keen on his cross-dressing but had relented and allowed themselves this holiday to allow him to 'have a go' in a private setting (presumably with the intention it would curb his desires 'in real life').

After a brief skirmish between the leader and the youths, everyone settles down for the project - the youths converting a couple of rooms in the house into makeshift dormitories and their beskirted leader guiding them through the restoration. The youths gain a new appreciation for their leader while his wife starts to see him in a new (positive!) light.

That's the fist of the dream, but when I started looking at it in more detail, I kept finding plot holes and areas that would need to be researched beforehand. So while I'd enjoy reading the story, if I tried writing it I'd end up in the literary equivalent of "development hell" and probably never finish it before I got completely demotivated.

So if anyone can take this synopsis and craft something resembling a story from it, I'd be grateful :) You can relocate the camp off islands and elsewhere if you like - islands may present a few technical challenges, and if it's land based then it allows the leader / wife to shop for essential supplies should the need arise. The leader's wife doesn't have to be pregnant - it's just something that was present in the dream (perhaps as a way of limiting her participation in the restoration project). Heck, if you want to, change almost anything - just keep the nub of the plot: crossdressing leader, youths arriving to restore the camp, and the wife eventually seeing her hubby in a new (positive) light (although it's probably best to keep nocturnal bedroom activities between the couple off-screen, so to speak).
