what a day and they say snow is comming again LOL LOL LOL any body want some water? (solid in form of hard pack snow ) come get it it is free heheh LOL LOL you must pick up though free clump of cat fur (color white ) with every pick-up hope everyone stays warm and dry have a nice day

I know exactly how you're feeling. I spent all day Friday shoveling. It snowed pretty hard early Friday morning and most of the day. I shoveled it once and then had to go out there periodically to shovel again. I was so sore by the end of it I couldn't write. Hopefully this is the last of it because frankly I have no place left to put the damn snow :)

Admittedly we've now passed out of the main 'risk of snow' season (it's currently 8.4°C where I live), but it hasn't been unheard of to have sun, rain, hail, sleet, and snow all in the same day. Part of the reason we make such a big fuss every time a couple of inches of the white stuff fall is that it's so infrequent and unpredictable - especially if it lasts more than 24 hours in the bulk of the UK (Scotland's different - being further North they tend to get a bit more than the rest of us, and it lasts a bit longer too), which is why we don't have any decent snow-clearing equipment (not worth the financial outlay for a couple of days a year).

Last week-
-it suddenly decided it was spring time. Temperatures climbed into the 60's and 70's. Yesterday the flowers followed suit. We've got pollen all over the place and event the trees are putting out leaves. I hope the cold doesn't come back otherwise we'll have a whole lot of dead plants.

Ain't Winter Fun !!!!
I'm in Ohio, out along the Lake and this winter has been like SO fun!!! I've been Skiing and walked on the Lake, and hiked in the woods and gone on road trips and shovelled snow, and even got to make a snow man again.
I'm from Portland, Oregon in the Willamette Valley, and in my 60+ years there it has been dreary, wet, soggy, sloppy, moldy and dreary every winter with the tantalising promise of snow but mostly it is there in the morning, gone by noon, or it is a thick coating of ice and those who venture out in it seem to have the intelligence of molusks.
