One of the things I'm involved in is academic research, specifically into the topic of absenteeism.

I have a number of Google Alerts set up to report to me daily on new publications of facets of this topic.

Today, one of my Alerts pointed at The Joyful Transman’s Blog where the most recent entry is entitled–funnily enough–“Absenteeism.”

So, here’s a headsup for you.

There are only three posts so far–the most recent from a couple of days ago–and it’s probably a good idea to read the introductory ones first to understand more about the blogger and where they’re coming from.
