I've always been a fan of late 18th century dress and literature, so when I saw this for the first time in person. (Yes I stood infront of the actual painting, it's huge) It's actual title is "La Cheminee" 1869.

My mind just wouldn't stop working over the image and I put the beginnings of it down on paper in the hotel that evening.

So now you can enjoy seeing the full size image as well as the small one that I put at the chapter headings.
