I'm probably well behind here and have missed something important, like the announcement that Kudos being interrupted for a while, which would explain where mine's gone. I've checked all the blogs back to before the New Year and haven't found anything. Have I not gone back far enough?
I just looked one day and there it wasn't.
Now compared to someone like Ang, whose Kudos looked like a phone number, mine just looked like loose change, but now I don't even have a zero.
Is it trying to tell me that I need to write something new?
I said I lost my muse and I'm still looking for it, but now I appear to have lost my muse and my Kudos.
Is my world really disappearing down the pan, losing it bit by bit?

Hmmm, something's changed, for sure.
My kudos no longer appear on my account page, but a quick check seems to show that they're still visible for each of my stories.

I too have the 'Good Story' button on my stories, greyed-out because I'm the author and can't give myself pats on the back, but I don't have a single entry with any Kudos points on.
Still, I guess writing something else might quell the lust for ego rubs...

BTW - not that i expected to find any, it's been soooo long since I posted everyone's forgotten what I wrote, but I wasn't surprised to find my kudos section blank as well. :-)

Not a feature
It's a bug. The total of kudos is supposed to be there on the account page. I don't know why it isn't. This could be a big hassle and end up being the end of the kudos feature, just like I had to remove the votes module. In fact, kudos is the fourth or fifth voting module that I've used that turned flakey after a while.
Sigh.

...sorry, just kidding. I went to account for four different authors and two had kudos with an amount but two had kudos with none listed. It may be a software glitch. I think you're adorable, either way.

Disappearing Kudos Theory
It's just a theory until someone with more info shows up. But I think that if the number stays the same for long enough, then it disappears from your account page. However, when someone gives you a new one, they all come back. It's happened to me too.
So, yeah, it's a way of telling you to write something new, and new thing often.

I'm not sure whether I have my muse back yet or not and have several pieces in the pipeline, none of which are even close to finished.
My latest seems to be going the best thus far and I'm hoping I will be able to use it in the contest. Please to be keeping fingers, toes and any other spare parts you may have crossed. This will be the first contest entry since El Dia De Los Muertos...

I would say yes, I COULD make that into a decent story. However, from where I see it, the likelihood is, it would put the TG element on the wrong side and probably make the general populous here disinterested.

If no one else will say it, I will! So far, I love your stories, and yes, every time I read one, I try to leave a kudo (and usually a comment!)
I do have a bad habit of hitting next chapter before I hit the kudo button (especially on Bike-I just can't wait for the next chapter! I'm up to #600 now-someday I'll be current!
