What is the true Holiday Dilemma, Jews face at this time of the year?

What causes us so much confusion?

No, it is not that we cannot “Play Any Reindeer Games“.
Neither is it the fact that our holiday nights are not “Silent Nights”
But, it is more deep and significant.
How can there not be confusion and a dilemma when we do not even know how to spell the name of the Holiday.

For the record, there are at least eighteen (18) different, but acceptable ways to spell
חֲנֻכָה in English.

Hanukkah, Chanukah, Hanukah, Hannukah,

Chanuka, Chanukkah, Hanuka, Channukah,
