Fictionmania seems to have disappeared again, at least for me. I can't raise it on the link from this site or by googling direct.
Is it just me and something I'm doing wrong or has anybody else experienced the same problem?

Working for me...
http://www.fictionmania.tv/
Just verified that the home page, entry page, and the category browser are all working fine.

Must be something peculiar to me. I can get to homepage but then I get "page not found"

I've had this problem
The problem I had was with internet explorer and it being an older version of the software. Started working after I upgraded to the latest version, which I didn't like how it worked. changed to using firefox and haven't had any more problems.

Problem
I have that problem accessing this site sometimes. I'm on Google Chrome and every once in awhile it tells me the page is busy when I'm trying to access Big Closet. I can fix the problem usually if I log off and log back on. Browsers get annoying and tricky sometimes.
Might be a DNS problem
Parts of Fictionmania are hosted under a different domain. So DNS problems (not finding the IP address of the server for a given domain) could cause all of the problems you mention.
Some ISPs have really, really crappy DNS servers. You might try a different DNS provider. Some good ones to try:
OpenDNS.com
DNSAdvantage.com
Google Public DNS
(If you don't know how to change your DNS server, OpenDNS.com has fairly complete instructions. These instructions can be used with any DNS provider)
Thank You All
For the suggestions (none of which worked by the way!) and the help. Whatever it was went away this morning and normal service resumed! Don't ask me how or why. I haven't got a clue, but thanks anyway,
Joanne
