Well i have been a lurker here for a while - At least Since the First Episode of Angharad's Epic Easy as Falling of a Bike
Well i have come to a decision, think its about time to post a story idea going on in my head.
Well this story would involve a Popular Anime/Collectable Card Game Yu-Gi-Oh, but not set in the actual Universe of the game, but where in our future where the card game has become real as the anime.
The Problem is that do i start it in the future where the hero/ine is there already. Or have it where the main hero/ine Come from the present and end up in this future

If your protagonist is contemporaneous with the story, you'll be able to concentrate on the action.
If your protagonist is from the here and now, I'd expect them to spend some time acclimatising to the situation - and you'd obviously need some plot device to perform the time jump.
Both have advantages and disadvantages - and it's also worth considering whether you would prefer your readers to be familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh! beforehand (or at least have skimmed through the Wikipedia article!), or whether you'll hand out a minimum working knowledge as you go along. The former's probably easiest to write, but if you're planning on departing significantly from the concepts of Yu-Gi-Oh!, then the latter strategy would probably work best.
Perhaps write a chapter or two in the former style first, then come back and read it again a day or so later and see whether it would work best that way or if it would be better if you added the time jump.
I'm not going to recommend one way or the other, but hopefully the waffle above should provide some sort of shape to your decision making process.

Well the setting in the
Well the setting in the future will have the heroine attending a School for Duelists, Teaching Students how to Duel as per the card game.
So will have Explainations of the Card Mechanics as i go along

I'm not hugely familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh
I'm not hugely familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh other than remembering the craze for it way back whenever it was (early 00's?). I'd guess an advantage of having the hero/ine go from the present to the future is it allows you to interpret the world through their unknowing eyes giving you more flexibility in the set-up phase of the story. The disadvantage could well be that it slows the pace of the story down and delays getting to the action.
In all honesty, I think the best person to work out the approach is you the writer. If you go with the approach you are most comfortable with it will probably read better to the casual reader because your comfort with the subject will show.

A story should have a storyline
A story should have a storyline, and whilst you've obviously thought about the background to the story, you need to also think about what that storyline actually is. What is going to happen, to whom, and how is it going to end? You don't need anything too concrete - just the basic idea in your mind.
Is your storyline about playing the game, and what happens in the game? If so, you can pay scant attention to the outside world.
If it's about a character in today's world who gets transported to a game set in the future (which sounds much more interesting to me as a reader, because I can relate to that), then start in today's world.
It's actions and dialogue which moves a story forward, so avoid long paragraphs of background material, especially near the beginning where some writers put it, and which causes many readers to yawn and move onto another story. Use no more than a couple of sentences at a time for the boring background stuff, then get into the action.

It starts now, and by some method the hero/ine arrives 1000years in the future - in this future the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Game has been forgotten for 995 years, and has been re-invented at that time, but Like in the show, it nows has the use of holographic technology.
The Main Character is someone who has played the card game in the past, so when they arrive in the future they will be able to play the card game no problem.
