Parents' Day has been passed, and now it's time to start working on what comes next.
Which leads me to the question presented in this blog: do readers want to experience Beck's Thanksgiving break at Sarah's, including some more fun times around the town of Persistence, or would you rather me move right on to the buildup to Christmas?
This is also probably an appropriate place to post an early warning. After Christmas Break (in story time) I'll be taking my own break from posting the story for a short time. How short? Probably about a month or so, enough time for me to get ahead again (something I haven't been since around part 3 :P) and work on some of my other stories, which have all sat by the wayside while PFH has been under construction.
Working on Princess For Hire has been good for me in several ways. For one thing, I believe at this point it has officially passed everything else I have ever written for length, and also as an exercise in keeping up a steady posting schedule, something that will be very important with some of the stories I have planned for after Princess For Hire finishes.
Anyhow, back to the subject at hand. All in all, here's the scoop. If I do a post for Thanksgiving break, then it will mean there are maybe four more postings before I take the break. If I skip Thanksgiving break, then there will only be three. Either way, I'll then take a break, and when I come back Princess For Hire 2: Second Semester will be in full swing, with more outfits, more of the Princesses, and far more pranks (as I plan on the second semester having a much higher humor content than the first has had.)

Significant Other or Andrew
Don't skip thanksgiving. You could have Becky
and Andrew engaged in a few embraces and possibly
a cheek kiss. Andrew could invite Becky to his
home. And to simplify things Becky can go as a
girl to help Andrew show the folks and friends
back home that he has gotten over his fear of
girls and has obtained a very beautiful girlfriend.
This could provide enough embarrassing situations
for Becky to pout about but feel a bit of romance
with doubts.
For the holidays such as Christmas and New Year you
can provide a situation where Beck's dad has of
all things a friend who is well off and is a
female trying to pass herself off as male c/d in
order to obtain Beck's dad. This can be a lady
who takes a motherly interest in Beck and who
takes Beck shopping in New York just like if Beck
were here daughter.

I would think it is relevant unless he is in boy mode for the holiday...if he is in boy mode, then does it add to/move the story forward. If not, then skip it. :)

Whether the break is in boy mode, girl mode, or even both [insert evil grin here], I'd say go for it.
I imagine that Sarah would encourage him to spend it in girl mode - after all, she's the true TG in amongst the Princesses, and being a local doesn't have (m)any other girls for friends. For Becky's part, it would be a chance to experience living life as a girl outside that required by the Princess program.
If spent in boy mode, there exists the possibility of him being "reverse read" by locals, which would add more fuel to his musings over whether to spend his time at school dressed en femme 24/7.
Besides which, from a purely selfish point of view, it delays the upcoming publishing break :)
