Just read a story on the BBC website, about a lost Wallaby, in Dorset, England.

That is a long way from their natural home, though actually there are some to be found out in the wilds of Derbyshire.
Wonder if Cathy, Angharad and Bonzai will make any claim of ownership.

The reality
is that alien species if escapees from a collection somewhere are caught and returned or - like the daleks do - EXTERMINATE-d.
That wobbilies have survived in other counties shows they can adapt to different climates, but a single animal will invariably perish eventually. What doesn't breed becomes extinct.
