No net is a bad thing. Mine crapped out at 0103 hrs this morning while I was trying to check a story here. Working fine one second and then nothing. I had to work this morning so I just went to bed, figuring the cable company woyuld be done doing whatever they did by the time anyone needed it. When I got home at 1700, I found out that everyone had just suffered without calling the cable company.I called and they reset their modem from that end, and I had net again. Took about 8 minutes total. Now I'm the heri while they all felt stupid. I also found out their is a recesssed button on the back of the modem I can use a paperclip to reset the modem the same thing they did. Even quicker. Now I wonder why they know they have this problem and don't bother to fix it, or give out a LARGE print issue of what to do when it does crap out.
