and as an item of (to me) foreign news it obviously gives me pleasure even though I know nothing of the individual's own political agenda.
Of far more concern is the disturbed and disturbing bigotry evidenced in the comments to be found on the news link.
I often read stories on the BC site that automatically assume pulic reaction to overtly TG characters will be anti at best but most likely hostile. How much of that was the author's own fear or whether it was just a plot device was unclear.
It all seems a lot more credible now and I'm sure it's not limited to just the Western world.
I think I've just woken up. Oh, for a happier world!

Thank you for posting this news item and the video was particularly interesting.

May be we are more developed and civilized than some of have been thinking we are. (But we still need to learn to stop killing each other in silly wars, and not to be so greedy that we take half the world's food away and let them starve, and that when half the people are not getting the food they need already, it may just be time not to make so many more babies.)
