I have been slow with finishing this up, I know. But I've been fighting pneumonia over the past few weeks, to the point of spending a week in the hospital then spending the next week going nuts because I couldn't go anywhere or do anything in spite of being home then. I'm still recovering, getting stronger as the days go by, and not sleeping quite as much, plus I can breathe without oxygen now (a big plus, trust me.) So I will get to the finale of Maiden, just as soon as I feel up to actually writing again.
The Shaping was pretty well finished, as I've mentioned, before I got sick, which is why I got that one posted for the contest.
Anyway, that's why there has been no update on Maiden or anything else I'm working on right now. Please be patient with me, I will get it done.

Yikes, you were sick
My sister, the Evil BlondeTM, had mild pneumonia a few years back. The doctors guessed wrong on he strain and gave her the wrong antibiotics. A few days later she was hospitalized with double pneumonia for week. It can do permanent damage to the lungs and this is on top of her asthma she has had since she was 12.
You had a serious illness and need time to recover.

I got the flu on the 22nd and was just up at the hospital with it last night. I do hope that you get better soon. I didn't have to do Oxygen though. I am sorry that you were so sick.
