Just another day in the life of Drew/Gaby - go for a bike ride, fall off, end up having to wear a skirt because trousers are too painful (even though that's what he'd prefer to wear!). But hey, although predictable we all enjoy it (and it wouldn't be the same if Drew avoided [quite literally!] getting into scrapes) :)

And at least he hasn't been kidnapped by the Russian Mafia yet (although who knows what nefarious plans Maddy has in store for him in books 8, 9 and 10!), unlike a certain other character who finds it difficult to remain upright on a bicycle...
